Maximizing Your Horse's Full Potential Through Whole Body Massage - Vitality Equine and Brigette Meyer

For Vitality Equine, whole body massage is an integral part to the well-being of a horse. Vitality Equine brings an anatomic based therapy to ensure performance enhancement, injury prevention and an overall improvement in disposition. Horse-owners will find that a tension and stress-free horse, that is provided regular massage, is a much more willing and eager to please partner.

Horses are intuitively athletes, but they are also our treasured companions. Horses give us so much yet ask for so little. Even when ridden properly, with the best training and conditioning methods, horses will exhibit body sensitivity and muscle inhibition. It is in their nature, and even in our own human nature, to limit how we use certain muscles when we feel sore. This limitation causes biomechanically flawed habits - like not lifting their backs properly, gait abnormalities and possible injuries. We, as humans, generally know when to stop and rest, the difference in our equine partners is that they will continue to work through pain.

Equine Canada performed a study in 2010 that show most horses owners - whether recreational or competitive - have, ride and own their horses because they LOVE them. It is our belief at Vitality Equine, that you have come to this page because you are looking to enrich your horses day-to-day life, and equine massage and bodywork will do just that. Massage is not only a fantastic way to give back to your equine partner, but a dynamic tool in your horse’s overall program to provide a skillful assessment on how their muscles are functioning. Competition, recreation, love, and care, all comes together through Equine Massage with Vitality Equine.

Biography: Bridgette is a certified and insured equine massage therapist. Her educational background includes a biology degree which shapes her philosophy of looking at the body of the horse as a whole.
